Our Mission

Statesboro Jaycees’ mission is to provide development opportunities for young people (ages 21-40) to create positive change. Statesboro Jaycees has a long history in Bulloch County and archives until present can be seen at: https://bit.do/StatesboroJaycees_history. Our Statesboro chapter was resurrected in 2014, and is still going strong.

If you are between the ages of 21 – 40, and would like to learn more about the Statesboro Jaycees, we would love to have you join us for one of our monthly meetings! We meet on the second Tuesday of each month; networking begins at 5:45pm and the meeting begins at 6:15pm.

DUES

Annual dues are $140. The dues are distributed as follows:

Your membership with the Statesboro Jaycees includes access to any of our social events, a T-shirt, and discounts to fun sporting events and our year end banquet.

Why I Joined the Jaycees: I joined the Statesboro Jaycees because I wanted to make a positive impact on my community while also growing personally and professionally. After graduating from UGA and moving back to Statesboro, I was eager to connect with like-minded young professionals who shared my passion for service and development. The Jaycees offered the perfect opportunity to do just that! My experience so far has been extremely rewarding, and I’m excited to be serving as an officer this year.

Why I Joined the Jaycees: I joined the Jaycees because I wanted to become more involved in the community and surround myself with people who care about making Statesboro better.
Through my work, I get to cover a lot of the good happening in Bulloch County, but I also wanted to be part of that work in a more hands-on way. The Jaycees felt like a great fit because it brings together service, leadership, professional development and friendship.
Since joining, the Jaycees have helped me step outside of my comfort zone, meet new people and become more connected to the community I call home

Why I Joined the Jaycees: To quote the creed…Service to Humanity is the best work of life. As a Statesboro Native and Double Eagle, I love our community and improving it has always been one of my goals. What better way to do that than with a group of my peers that share that drive and love for Statesboro?

Why I joined the Jaycees: When I first moved to Statesboro for college, I fell in love with the community and got involved through my sorority. Now that I’ve recently moved back, I knew I had to reconnect and be involved once again. Joining the Jaycees was a natural choice because the organization offers numerous opportunities for personal and professional growth through community service projects, networking events, and leadership training. Being part of the Jaycees allows me to connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the community.

Why I Joined the Jaycees: Since a young age I have always found myself volunteering and involved in the community. After college I wanted to keep up with volunteering and being a part of something bigger than myself. Joining the Jaycees seemed like the perfect fit. Statesboro is my home and it is very important to me to be a part of the community. I love to see it grow and prosper.
