WHY I JOINED THE JAYCEES:

Being fairly new to the area I didn’t know a lot of people in the area nor did I know very much about our community. I was invited to a meeting by our past President, Erica Sellers, almost 2 years ago now. The Jaycees have really helped me personally and professionally, through networking, fundraising and community events. I’ve learned so much about myself as an individual and a young professional through this origination. Professionally, it’s opened doors and gotten me in touch with the “right” people for my job industry. Personally, it’s helped me learn about our community and how I can make a difference. It’s been very rewarding to be able to give back to my community and actually see the impact that we make. Not only have I grown personally and professionally and gotten to know my community, but I’ve made lifelong friends to continue on this journey with.
