Our Mission
Statesboro Jaycees’ mission is to provide development opportunities for young people (ages 21-40) to create positive change. WHY I JOINED THE JAYCEES:
Being fairly new to the area in 2016, I didn’t know a lot of people nor did I know very much about the community. I was invited to a meeting by one of our past Presidents and knew right away that this was the origination for me. The Jaycees have really helped me personally and professionally, through networking, fundraising and community events. I’ve learned so much about myself as an individual and a young professional through this origination. Professionally, this organization has opened doors and put me in touch with the right people to help advance my career. Personally, it has helped me learn about my community and how I can help make a difference. It’s been very rewarding to be able to give back to my community and actually see the impact that the Jaycees make. Not only have I grown personally and professionally and gotten to know my community, but I’ve made lifelong friends to continue on this journey with me.
