Our Mission
Statesboro Jaycees’ mission is to provide development opportunities for young people (ages 21-40) to create positive change. Statesboro Jaycees has a long history in Bulloch County and archives until present can be seen at: https://bit.do/StatesboroJaycees_history. Our Statesboro chapter was resurrected in 2014, and is still going strong.
If you are between the ages of 21 – 40, and would like to learn more about the Statesboro Jaycees, we would love to have you join us for one of our monthly meetings! We meet on the second Tuesday of each month; networking begins at 5:45pm and the meeting begins at 6:15pm.
Our meeting place for 2024 will be Soyumi Asian Kitchen! Click the name of the location to see it on Google Maps.

WHY I JOINED THE JAYCEES:
I grew up in Statesboro and have always had a love for our community and passion for volunteering. As I got older, I realized I wanted to step out on my own and be involved in the community I love. I was invited to Jaycees by Chris Wiggins and realized quickly that I wanted to join and be a part of this group of young adults with the same love for Statesboro and passion for volunteering as me. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Jaycees so far and look forward to continuing to serve alongside this great group of people.
Bailey Brinson -- Vice President

WHY I JOINED THE JAYCEES:

Joining the Jaycees seemed like the perfect fit. Statesboro is my home and it is very important to me to be a part of the community. I love to see it grow and prosper.

Why I joined the Jaycees
Coming from Mexico, I shifted my role from receiving to giving back. After securing a college education in the United States, I discovered the joy of contributing. Inspired by community leaders, like Bailey Brinson, I joined the Statesboro Jaycees to step out of my comfort zone. As a Jaycee, I’ve volunteered on various occasions, finding immense fulfillment in assisting our community. Having experienced the need for help, I understand the impact of community support. It’s a rewarding journey and I love knowing we’re making a positive difference.

Why I Joined the Jaycees:
Giving back to the Statesboro Community is one of the most rewarding aspects of being a Jaycee. As a prior U.S. Marine, being actively involved with the Toys For Tots local operation has been a gift come full circle. I look forward to seeing the growth of our community, one simple act of service at a time.
