Our Mission

Statesboro Jaycees’ mission is to provide development opportunities for young people (ages 21-40) to create positive change. Statesboro Jaycees has a long history in Bulloch County and archives until present can be seen at: https://bit.do/StatesboroJaycees_history. Our Statesboro chapter was resurrected in 2014, and is still going strong.
If you are between the ages of 21 – 40, and would like to learn more about the Statesboro Jaycees, we would love to have you join us for one of our monthly meetings! We meet on the second Tuesday of each month; networking begins at 5:45pm and the meeting begins at 6:15pm.

Why I joined the Jaycees:
When I first moved to Statesboro for college, I fell in love with the community and got involved through my sorority. Now that I’ve recently moved back, I knew I had to reconnect and be involved once again. Joining the Jaycees was a natural choice because the organization offers numerous opportunities for personal and professional growth through community service projects, networking events, and leadership training. Being part of the Jaycees allows me to connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the community.

WHY I JOINED THE JAYCEES:
I grew up in Statesboro and have always had a love for our community and passion for volunteering. As I got older, I realized I wanted to step out on my own and be involved in the community I love. I was invited to Jaycees by Chris Wiggins and realized quickly that I wanted to join and be a part of this group of young adults with the same love for Statesboro and passion for volunteering as me. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Jaycees so far and look forward to continuing to serve alongside this great group of people.
